Black & Boujee [Bainbridge Island Museum of Art]
This exhibit seeks to redefine the concept of luxury by highlighting the elegance, opulence, and sophistication inherent in black culture. I made the decision to create a 'back of head' portraying aspects of self-care that require a level of commitment to being 'boujee': braids & nails. On display from Jan through February.
